sticky notes for windows · coming soon
Your note waits in the app it belongs to.
Pinlo is for people who work across many apps all day and lose their place every time they switch. Pin a note to an app, and it shows up when that app does.
01 · the problem
Every switch costs you your place.
The client's feedback is in one window. The note about that bug is in a notes app you never open while you code. By the time you've found either, you've forgotten why you looked.
Paper sticky notes worked because they sat where the work was. Digital ones get buried the moment you alt-tab.
02 · how it works
Jot it. Pin it. Find it right where you left it.
- jot lo
Jot
A shortcut, or the drawer at the edge of your screen, opens a new note. Plain text or Markdown.
- pin lo
Pin
Pin it to your desktop, or to the app you're in. Pinlo knows which app is in front.
- there it is
Come back
Switch to that app and its notes float over it. Switch away and they hide. Start typing and they fade, so they never get in your way.
03 · and also
The rest of what a notes app should do.
A board for each place
Open every note for one app at once, and tidy them like cards on a desk.
Reminders
Give a note a time, and it reminds you.
Tags and search
Find any note, from anywhere, in a moment.
Lock a note
Keep a private note behind a PIN.
Your files, your sync
Notes live on your computer. Sync them through your own Dropbox, Drive, OneDrive or Syncthing.
Export, always free
Every note, as Markdown, JSON or PDF. You're never locked in.
pinlo plus
Bring your own AI in.
With Plus, Claude and other MCP-capable AI apps can read, write and pin your notes. Use it with your own AI: your own API key, or a model running on your computer. Pinlo sends your notes only to the AI you pick, and only when you use it.
pinlo never runs an ai of its own on your notes.
